Because the coupler rides on a ball it has more swivel in every direction of any 5th wheel hitch available. This also gives you the ability to couple or uncouple your trailer on uneven terrain. By providing a remote cable attached to the coupler we have eliminated the need to climb into the back of your truck to disconnect the hitch from your 5th wheel trailer. #3249 - Ultimate Connection Safety Chains with PlateSome newer trucks have the puck system and the Andersen base covers where the safety chains attach, this kit with the plate fixes that problem. Our Ultimate Connection Safety Chains are built tough! They have been road-tested and meet all current requirements for safety chains. This product comes with everything you'll need to install the chains with your Ultimate 5th Wheel Connection (Gooseneck version).
This kit includes a specially designed plate to simplify the installation of your Andersen Ultimate Connection Safety Chains. The plate should be installed over the tow vehicle's gooseneck ball underneath the base of the Ultimate Connection. The safety chains can be connected to the plate using either the chain hooks or the shackles. NOTE: The two eyelet bolts replace the kingpin coupler bolts that ship with the Ultimate 5th Wheel Connection (Gooseneck version). |

"I cannot say enough about Donna and The Hitch Stop. She offers good prices, she's upfront and honest, has excellent customer service, and she will go out of her way to help you out. I first contacted Donna about buying a new hitch.
